One big lesson I’ve been learning, and re-learning, and re-learning again is how critically important it is to do my thing, my way.
Be on my own path.
Let my gifts shine.
Be guided by what feels right for me. Always.
Here’s the thing, one of the ways that those of us who feel called to be leaders actually miss our calling is by following rules that aren’t made for us. By listening to people who don’t get us. And following paths carved for other people’s footprints.
That’s not our place. Our place is to be the creators.
To blaze the trail.
To set the tone.
To define the standard.
To expand consciousness.
To be the magic maker.
We see the vision. We see the way out. And believe me, that’s a talent and a gift that not everyone is blessed to have.
Each person brings something special to the dance, and our something special clears a path for the people around us to see where to go next.
So when I think about my biggest lesson, it really is about tuning out the noise, listening closely, and being brave enough to take action on what I do really, really well.
I know that’s when magic happens.
So fellow trailblazers, time to grab our glittery magic wands. We’ve got some important work to do.
You got this. I believe in you.
